IRF Statutory Meetings & Seminar “Road Safety Sustainable Development & Financing”

The IRF Geneva Programme Centre is inviting you to a two-day event in Paris, France, on 16 and 17 April 2014.
Combining IRF Statutory meetings on Wednesday 16 April with a Seminar on “Road Safety, Sustainable Development & Financing” on Thursday 17 April, the IRF brings together key players in the road industry in the majestic city of Paris.
Wednesday 16 April morning will be dedicated to the IRF Statutory meetings, open to IRF members only. In the afternoon, the IRF Committee on Road Financing & Economics, the Road Safety Group of Experts and the ITS Policy Committee will be convened. The Committees’ meetings will be open to IRF members and non-members. They represent a unique opportunity to discuss on-going developments in these fields and to exchange with peers.
Thursday 17 April will feature a Seminar addressing the topics of Road Safety, Sustainable Development & Financing. Organised in collaboration with FIA (Fédération Internationale Automobile), the seminar will look into PPPs for road safety, the role of technology and education in reducing fatalities, financing mechanisms for sustainable and safe road networks development and maintenance, implications of the new EU Concession Directive, the Safer Road Investment Plans, and much more.
