Press Releases & News

We Wish You All the Best

Kacem Iaych, our former statistician, decided to return to his former employer, the World Health Organisation (WHO), to once again tackle the challenge of road accident data. Kacem has assumed responsibility for the World Road Statistics for two years. He was also involved in the IRF Changer. Given the close relationship of IRF with the WHO road accident department, we are certain, that we will continue to be in close contact with Kacem. We wish him all the best in this career move.

We would like to congratulate Dr. Essam Sharaf for his appointment as new Prime Minister of Egypt. Dr. Sharaf was heading the Arab Center for Transport Research & Studies (ACTRS), an IRF Geneva member. It was under his wise guidance that we initiated the conference on environment which was postponed to next year. Dr. Sharaf’s appointment is a wise decision and on behalf of the IRF, we wish him success in his task.
